The cabin and its surroundings were very quiet, secluded, and peaceful. We loved sitting by the creek reading our books, relaxing in the hot tub, crossing the bridge to explore the mountainside, listening to the owls around the campfires at night, and sipping coffee by the cozy fire in the mornings. The kitchen was well-organized and stocked with nice new dishes and cookware, the linens were fresh and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. This turned out to be one of our favorite places we've stayed and we'll definitely be back again.

Our family decided to let our children steer the ship on picking which listing to choose while planning and I can firmly say our children left feeling extremely satisfied with their choice. The kids felt like the location was magical, it was secluded, sounded so serene and had so much to explore. We played in the creek, enjoyed the hot tub, built fires, climbed the twisty stairs to their "lair" and played monopoly and the matching game at the house non stop. The ages we have are 8 and 5, just as a reference. We explored so many different areas, which was also a great perk, we were max 1.5 hours to the furthest location we explored in Hudson Valley and as quick as 25 minutes to Livingston Manor, which has a great restaurant, brewery with a hike on property, and cute Downtown. We easily bought bundled wood locally for fires, and there was also a local grocery and a Walmart on the way in for us from NYC, so easy to stock up! Overall, we loved our time.

The house and ground are beautiful! We enjoyed sitting outside around the fire pit and walking over the bridge to the trails. The house was very clean and looked even better than the pictures. I would love to visit again!
